About IBSC

Ikan Bilis Swimming Club (IBSC) was founded since 1971 and has been around for more than 4 decades in pursuit of swimming excellence.

It has been the most popular competitive swim club in the Klang Valley and has grown from a humble small club to one that is registering close to 450 swimmers today. IBSC has been the champion swimming club in past competitions evidenced by the top ranking of IBSC in past championships and the emergence of top national medalists nurtured by IBSC coaches.

IBSC pioneers used to train in the Weld swimming pool, Sungei Besi TUDM base and Kelana Jaya Swimming pool before moving to its current location at the Kompleks Renang Kuala Lumpur in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras. The team's training programs are under the purview Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan (Bakat Sukan Wilayah).

IBSC, a non-profit organisation,  is associated with Persatuan Renang Amatur Kuala Lumpur (PRAKL), an affiliate of Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (ASUM).
