Well done to Desmond Ng for his powerful swim in 200m breaststroke yesterday at the 7th Asean Games 2015 at Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei where he scooped up gold in his pet event.
Desmond led all the way in the 4-lap race ahead of Indonesian rival, Ilham Turmudzi (2:22.63) and Thai swimmer, Sophonwich Traiwijsutitong (2:24.99) to touch the wall first at 2:21.78. Even though not his personal best time, Desmond was happy to have secured a gold medal on day 1.
