Sole WP swimmer broke 4 records at 18th Paralimpiad Malaysia Sarawak 2016

IBSC member, Puteri Nur Diyana, was the sole representation for Team Wilayah Persekutuan at the recent 18th Paralimpiad Malaysia which took place in Kuching, Sarawak from 8th - 10th Aug, 2016.

Puteri who is only 14, swam under the IPC (International Paralympic Committee) medical code S14 for Intellectually Challenged and scored a 100% mark by sweeping all 4 gold in the events she participated. Along the way she wiped off 4 meet records with ease.

This unassuming teenager charted commendable new record times in the meet.

   S14 100 Freestyle 1:41.43 (2010 MR 2:07.39)
   S14 200 Freestyle 3:45.18 (2012 MR 5:12.98)
   S14 100 Backstroke 2:01.85 (2014 MR 2:57.22)
   S14 50 Freestyle 43.15 (2010 MR 47.42)
