IBSC sent a contingent of 141 young and dedicated swimmers to the meet and managed to collect 1881.5 points to rank top 2 in the competition and bagging 9 gold, 7 silver, 8 bronze and a meet record.
Sharizan Bin Shazali, 14 did handsomely well in his favourite backstroke sprint as he awed the crowd by breaking a 9 year old record (28.76) held by his mentor Ian James Barr (IBSC) in 2009 as he clocked a faster time of 28.20s. Sharizan secured 131 points and added to his medal collections of 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Joining the team's performance, Ashley Ting, 14, swam to 2 silver, 1 bronze and managed to get 159 points for the team.

In addition, Whisky Chew, 12, gave a surprise gold in his 100m fly with a new PB of 1:06.76.
