2nd Day of SUKMA Perak yielded 2 gold and a bronze

Day 2 in SUKMA Perak 2018 shined with gold as Steve Khiew secured the first gold for Team WIPERS in his favourite 200m backstroke event. Steve Khiew finished a neat 2:08.02 to claim victory even though not his PB. Second placing behind Steve went to Terrence Ng (Sel) (2:09.12) whilst Hii Puong Wei (Swk) settled for bronze (2:10.56).


The 2nd gold was scooped up Keith Lim as expected as he raced to touch first with a great time of 50.89 in the 100m freestyle event. Penang's Lim Yin Chuen took silver (51.12) and the bronze went to Selangor's Terrence Ng (52.66).

Meanwhile, in the 200m IM event, Sebastian has to settle for the bronze as he came third with a time of 2:07.66 behind Jordan Yip (Sel) and Arvin Shaun (Trg).
