On the second day of the meet, the traffic condition was made worse as the entrance to the pool was blocked due to the FT Day celebration at the stadium next door. But not all was bad, as the audience at the pool were entertained by the para-gliders and display of colourful fireworks during the parade. A sense of festivity suddenly filled the air in the midst of the stiff competition.

Despite all these challenging factors, the meet went on smoothly.
This year's championship recorded the highest number of participants with 524 swimmers from 11 affiliated clubs and schools around Kuala Lumpur.
Swimmers who can achieve the qualifying times set by PRAKL will be chosen to represent Team Kuala Lumpur in the National Age Group Swimming Championship in April 2013.

IBSC emerged as the victorious champion again with collection of 87 golds, 68 silvers and 64 bronze. It also has the most number of meet records achieved with 11 new times being created out of a total of 23 records.
