5th MAS/NSC MID & LONG DISTANCE SWIMMING 2022 TEAM BRIEFING

 

Dear IBSC swimmers and parents,

Please find details of the competition as below. 

Dates                               :   8th - 9th October 2022
Venue                              :    National Aquatic Centre, Bukit Jalil

Warm-Up Time :-

The pool sessions are as follows:

8th - 9th October -  Warm-up 6.30 am

Competition Timing : 

Saturday / Sunday :  Heats starts at  8:00am 

Scratching/Withdrawal of Events :-

There is NO SCRATCHING OF EVENTS are allowed I during the meet unless with medical reason. A penalty of RM25/event will be imposed if swimmers failed to swim in their registered events (DNS).

Swimmers who fail to swim within the qualifying time, further penalty of RM25/ event will be imposed 

The team attire will be as follows :-

8th Oct (Saturday)    : Orange Team Shirt

9th Oct (Sunday)      : Tiffany Blue Team Shirt

Order Of Events : 

Session reports and event start list be send out in group chat upon available.

All details and results of the meet are also available in Meet Mobile apps.

* All other informations will be posted via group chats during competition days, please be alert on any announcements 

* Swimmers selected for Team Relay needs to stay back till end of the day for relay event. 

Seating

IBSC swimmers and supporters are advised to camp together as a team for ease of communication and food distribution. The IBSC camp will be marked with IBSC flag banners.

Meals and Refreshments

Breakfast , snacks and lunch will be provided by IBSC to the swimmers. 

Please bring your own supply of drinking water.

Discipline

Good sportsmanship and self discipline is vital. The EXCO expects all swimmers to carry the good name of IBSC during the swim meet. All swimmers are to respect each other including your competing peers and adhere to the rules and regulations of the meet and instructions of the Team Managers/officials and coaches.

Please also be reminded that the diving platforms and springboards are out of bounds. Do not be playful around the pool deck or marshal area to avoid any untoward incidents. Any delinquent swimmer can be subject to disciplinary action.
