The recent Sports Excel/MILO/NSC/ASUM Junior Swimming Circuit, Grand Final 2012 has just concluded and was held at the Bandar Tun Razak swimming pool on 1-2 September, 2012. IBSC again emerged as Overall Champion in this annual junior competition.
The Grand Final saw only 24 qualified swimmers selected for each swim event from the total points gathered in the Leg 1 and Leg 2 swimming competitions held in the Hang Jebat Aquatic Centre in May 2012 and Paroi Aquatic Centre in June 2012 respectively.
The format of the competition requires the swimmers to compete in 3 heats in the morning preliminary rounds. The top 8 swimmers with the fastest timings who qualified into the final returned in the afternoon to race again to claim their medals.
In this Grand Final, IBSC collected 410 points giving our club a great mileage to stay undefeated at the top with PADE coming in second with 169 points and Penang Swimming Club claiming third place with 121 points.

2 new meet records in the 11-12 years boys category were also created, one each by Dylan Wong (CSC) in his 50m butterfly (28.16) and Goh Yue Hong (IBSC) in 100m butterfly (1:02.13).
